INDIAN NAVY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM UNMARRIED MALE AND UNMARRIED FEMALE CANDIDATES FOR AGNIVEER (MR) 02/2024 BATCH

Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (MR) for 02/2024 (Nov 24) batch. The distribution of tradewise vacancies for male and female would be decided based on service requirement.

Age for Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) for Agniveer (MR) : Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2003 to 30 Apr 2007 (Both dates inclusive).

Job Specifications

(a) Chef : They would be required to prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

(b) Steward : They would be required to serve food in the officers messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

(c) Hygienist : They will be required to clean washroom, shower spaces and other areas. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties as per Service requirement.

Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR Educational Qualifications :
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR Age :- Candidates should be born between 01 Nov 2002 ? 30 April 2006 (Both dates inclu-sive).

Duration of Service:- The Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957, for a period of four years. Agniveers would form a distinct rank in the Indian Navy, different from any other existing ranks. Indian Navy is not obliged to retain the Agniveers beyond the engagement period of four years.

Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR Pay & Allowances :- Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.

Seva Nidhi. Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engage-ment period.

1st Year- 30000 ; 2nd Year- 33000 ; 3rd Year- 36500; 4th Year- 40000

Leave. 30 days leave per year shall be applicable for Agniveers. Additionally, sick leave would be applicable based on medical advice of competent medical authority.

Enrolment as Sailors (Regular Cadre):- On completion of four years of service, based on organizations requirements and policies promulgated by the Indian Navy, Agniveers will be offered an opportunity to apply for permanent enrolment in the Indian Navy. These applications will be considered in centralized manner based on objective criteria including performance during their four year engagement period and up to 25% of each specific batch of Agniveers will be enrolled in Indian Navy for further re-engagement as sailor (regular cadre). Agniveers will not have any right to be selected for further enrolment in to the Indian Navy. Selection of the Agniveers for further enrolment, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR SELECTION CRITERIA :

Selection process of Agniveer (MR) - 02/2024 batch will include three stages i.e. Shortlisting (computer based Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) online examination), Written Examination, PFT and Initial Medical and Final Recruitment Medical Examination.

STAGE  I (Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) - COMPUTER BASED ONLINE EXAMINATION)

Shortlisting:- All India computer based examination- Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) would be conduct for Shortlisting of candidates. Shortlisting would be based on marks obtained in the Indian Navy Entrance Test. Shortlisting will be carried out in state wise manner. The cut off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection process may vary from state to state. 

Selection of recruits is based on State wise merit of their performance in Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR Computer-based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.
Online examination will be conducted for AR entries.

The Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR question paper will comprise of following sections i.e.
Science,
Mathematics and
General Awareness.

The standard of the Indian Navy AGNIVEER MR question paper will be that of 10th Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in 

STAGE  II (WRITTEN EXAMINATION, PFT AND INITIAL MEDICAL)

Candidates shortlisted in Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) examination (computer based online examination) will be issued call-up letter for Stage II (written examination, PFT & Initial Medical). Stage-II will be conducted in the designated Indian Navys centres. The syllabus for Stage-II written exam is available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Aadhar Card is mandato- ry for Stage-II.

Merit List:- Merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test. Merit List for Agniveer (MR) ? male candidates will be based on state-wise merit and the cut off marks for issue of call up letter for Recruitment Medical Exami-nation at INS Chilka may vary from state to state. Merit list for Agniveer (MR) ? female candidates will be based on all India merit. In case of candidates securing similar cut off marks in Written Examination, the candidate with higher percentage in the qualifying examination i.e 10th will be selected for Recruitment Medical Examination at INS Chilka  

STAGE  III (FINAL MEDICAL EXAMINATION)

Recruitment Medicals:- Recruitment Medical Examination of all selected candidates will be conducted at INS Chilka. Candidates who are found medically fit in Recruitment Medical Examina-tion will be recruited. Candidates who are found medically unfit will be advised to appeal against its findings, if they so desire, at INHS Nivarini/ INHS Kalyani within a maximum period of 21 days. No further review/ appeal is permissible.   

Training:- Training for the course will commence in Nov 24, at INS Chilka, Odisha

    Click on Apply(√) button.
    Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the Submit button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original & uploaded.
Online applications will be further scrutinised for eligibility and may be rejected at any stage, if found in eligible in any respect.

Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) Examination Fee: An examination fee of Rs. 60/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
