INDIAN NAVY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM UNMARRIED MALE AND UNMARRIED FEMALE CANDIDATES FOR AGNIVEER (SSR) 02/2024 BATCH
Indian Navy has published a notification for the recruitment of AGNIVEER Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) 02/2024 (Nov 24) for unmarried Male and unmarried female candidates. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & Apply Online.
Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (SSR) for 02/2024 (Nov 23) batch. The distribution of tradewise vacancies for male and female would be decided based on service requirement.

The Indian Navy (Nausena Bharti) has released a recruitment notification and invites online applications from unmarried male candidates for enrollment as AGNIVEER Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) 02/2024 (Nov 23).

SENIOR SECONDARY RECRUIT (SSR) - Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India
Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Age :-
Candidates should be born between 01 Nov 2003 - 30 April 2007 (Both dates inclusive).
Duration of Service:- The Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957, for a period of four years. Agniveers would form a distinct rank in the Indian Navy, different from any other existing ranks. Indian Navy is not obliged to retain the Agniveers beyond the engagement period of four years.
Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Pay & Allowances :- Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.
Seva Nidhi:- Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engage- ment period, as indicated below:-
1st Year- 30000 ; 2nd Year- 33000 ; 3rd Year- 36500 ; 4th Year- 40000
Leave:- 30 days leave per year shall be applicable for Agniveers. Additionally, sick leave would be applicable based on medical advice of competent medical authority.
Enrolment as Sailors (Regular Cadre):- On completion of four years of service, based on organizations requirements and policies promulgated by the Indian Navy, Agniveers will be offered an opportunity to apply for permanent enrolment in the Indian Navy. These applications will be considered in centralized manner based on objective criteria including performance during their four year engagement period and up to 25% of each specific batch of Agniveers will be enrolled in Indian Navy for further re-engagement as sailor (regular cadre). Agniveers will not have any right to be selected for further enrolment in to the Indian Navy. Selection of the Agniveers for further enrolment, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Indian Navy.
Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Selection Criteria :
Selection process of Agniveer (SSR) - 02/2024 batch will include three stages i.e. Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) computer based online examination), Written Examination, PFT and Initial Medical and Final Recruitment Medical Examination
STAGE I (Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) - COMPUTER BASED ONLINE EXAMINATION)
Shortlisting:- All India computer based examination- INET would be conducted for Shortlist- ing of candidates. Shortlisting would be based on marks obtained in the Indian Navy Entrance Test. Shortlisting will be carried out in state wise manner. The cut off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection process may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state wise manner.
In case of candidates securing similar cut off marks in Computer Based Examina-tion, the candidate with higher percentage in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2h will be selected for Stage II of selection process. The percentage will be calculated taking into consideration best of three subjects i.e. Physics, Mathematics and one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science as selected by the candidate in online application.
The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) Agniveer (SSR) question paper will comprise of four sections i.e.
English,
Science,
Mathematics and
General Knowledge.
The standard of the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) Agniveer (SSR) question paper will be that of 10+2 Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in
Results of the Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) online examination : will be announced tentatively after 30 days.
candidates will be called for PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination.
The qualifying cut off marks for appearing in PFT & Preliminary Recruitment Medical may vary from State to State for SSR entry.
STAGE II (WRITTEN EXAMINATION, PFT AND INITIAL MEDICAL)
Physical Standards:- Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
STAGE III (FINAL MEDICAL EXAMINATION)
Merit List:- Merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test. Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) ? male and female will be based on state-wise merit. TRAINING: Training for the course will commence in Nov 23, at INS Chilka, Odish.

The Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) applications are to be filled online only on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in
between 13 May 2024 to 27 May 2024.
- Register yourself on www.joinindiannavy.gov.in with your e-mail ID, if not registered already.
- The Applicants must ensure that while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active e-mail IDs and mobile numbers, which should not be changed till selection procedure is over.
- Login with the registered E-mail ID and Click on Current Opportunities.
- Click on Apply(√) button.
- Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the Submit button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original & uploaded.
- Online applications will be further scrutinised for eligibility and may be rejected at any stage, if found ineligible in any respect.
Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) EXAMINATION FEE : An examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have success- fully paid the examination fee.
